Calf Implants in Mexico by Dr. Manuel Gutierrez RomeroCalf Implants in Mexico is a procedure that is not so frequently requested by patients, but when performed, it offers a gratifying result.
The implant itself has the shape of half a cucumber made from Silicone. I always ask my patients to bring pictures of calves that they like. This may help me in my plan forthe operation. The operation itself is very simple under epidural anesthesia. The patient is placed in a supine position. With a small incision in the back of the knee, you identify the superficial fascia and make a pocket that is limited to the size of the implant. The implant is introduced and the wound is closed. The Postoperative The patient must limit walking for the first week, sutures are removed in 2 weeks, and the patient will go back to exercise in 1 month. Total time of the operation is 30 to 45 minutes.
